I Believe

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In other words, I am a Mormon.

My faith is important to me; it is part of my soul.

I believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the Savior of the World.

I believe that Christ lives. And that through His love we can be happy, healed, and whole.

I believe that God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph Smith, then a fourteen-year-old boy, when he humbly asked which church to join.

I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that Christ restored His Church and His priesthood through him.

I believe that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God.

I believe the Book of Mormon is true.

I believe that God still speaks to prophets today. And that God's prophet on the earth today is Thomas S. Monson.

I believe in continuing revelation. And I believe in personal revelation.

I believe in a God who is aware of us on an individual level. I believe that we are all children of God.

I believe that I am a daughter of God.

There is power in faith. Faith is a choice.

And there is power in believing.
